The Green Republic Project has held its 3rd Annual Climate Benefit Ball, a yearly event aimed at bringing together key collaborators in the climate space for raising funds and championing positive action towards improving global climate conditions.
The Annual Climate Benefit Ball & Awards Series is an innovative platform created by The Green Republic Project to bring stakeholders and leaders in the climate space together for networking and heightening perspectives on the global climate crisis and the need for all stakeholders, public and private to pull together in finding mitigating strategies that holds the potential to help overcome the existential threat that climate change and global warming poses. It is to most importantly help raise funds to support the core mandate of the organizers which is to plant trees as the most viable nature-based remedy to the crisis.
The event brings together corporate champions, captains of industry, Members of the Diplomatic Community, Traditional Rulers, Clergy, Heads of State Institutions, Civil Society organizations, youth leaders and the media to deliberate on the defining challenge of our time; climate change and global warming and collectively take bold action of supporting to combat it through financial, knowledge sharing and material support. It provides a very credible platform for corporates to channel their climate action support through partnerships. The Ball has since its inception in 2009 attracted and hosted top brands including Republic Bank, National Lotteries Authority, DHL, Ghana Post, Kasapreko, Zoom Lion, Minerals Income Investment Fund, British Petroleum, WayLead Ghana Limited, Izako Limited, Ketekrachi Timber Recovery Limited, Jam Juice Bar, Stag India, Labadi Beach Hotel, Holiday Inn Hotel, Dotcom Freight Company Limited, Ghacem Ghana, Australia High Commission, Indian High Commission, Angola Embassy and Tripple A Enterprise.
