The Founder and Convener of the Green Republic Project Nana Yaw Osei-Darkwa has been awarded the Nation Builder Award by Youth Leadership Parliament, the foremost youth governance platform in Ghana organizers of the 2nd Millennium Youth Impact Awards for his leadership in matters relating to the environment.
He was presented with a plaque and a citation which read

“You have stood in for mankind in this last decade to help save the Earth from Global warming and carbon emissions through your passion for tree planting. You foresaw the sense of urgency to lead the charge to help humans change our ways toward the earth and plant more trees. We therefore present to you this citation, having been nominated and won the MILLENNIUM YOUTH IMPACT AWARD AS A NATION BUILDER – ENVIRONMENT.”
The Green Republic Project is your initiative to make tree planting a social contract between mankind and the environment, which is today a household initiative adopted by Government and other agencies. Youth Leadership Parliament is indeed proud to honour you for your many contribution towards the attainment of sdgoal Goal 13 in Ghana.
