The Green Republic ProjeCT on Saturday 15th August 2020 partnered Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints Church in Tamale to plant 1000 mahogany trees as part of efforts to help combat the defining challenge of the time Climate change and global warming.
The event which took place on the campuses of the Sagnarigu Girls Model School had in attendance the Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Hajia Mariam Iddrisu , traditional authorities, members of the LDS church led by President Osei Kwame, Headmistress of the school, reigning Queen of the North pageant winner, among several others.
